Facebook can target advertising revenue reached 72 percent of all existing social media in the United States next year.
The achievement is even surpassed Yahoo's ad revenue this year.
Based on data from eMarketer.com, Facebook is expected to get the highest market share among existing social media both in the number of users and revenue.
Next year, Facebook advertising revenue is predicted to 5.78 billion U.S. dollars, or about 72 percent of the total income of the entire social media advertising in the U.S., or about 6.1 percent of total global spending on social media advertising.
"The growth has surpassed even Yahoo's ad revenue this year," said eMarketer analyst, Debra Aho Williamson, Friday (11/04/2011).
The eMarketer report on "Worldwide Social Network Ad Revenue: A $ 10 Billion Market by 2013", they explain the social media advertising revenue will exceed 8 billion dollars in 2012 and nearly 10 billion dollars in 2013.
